Because it’s been a month. Yes, a month. I know … I keep hearing, ‘why aren’t you blogging?’ ‘when are you coming baaaaaccccck?’, ‘i miss reading the amazing insights you have to share!’ Wait, I think I keep hearing things. I’m hearing things. Crap.

Anyway, I took some photos last night for fun at the donkey basketball game I attended. Annnnnd yes, you read that right. There are certain perks, if you will, to living in a tiny community in which a group might jump at the opportunity to host such an event. You don’t (ever) get to see donkeys being ridden by football uniform-clad men tossing a basketball to and fro. You just don’t. And now you’re jealous. See?

I haven’t laughed that hard in a long time. And I desperately needed to. I hope the photo evidence clearly demonstrates just what was so funny. (And I won’t lie; seeing a bunch of firefighters take off on a call was also a highlight.)
