I’m not sure if Pinterest is behind the massive number of quotes floating around the InterWebs as of late, but I have to admit … I don’t hate it. As a person who talks a lot, thinks a lot and writes some, words can be extremely powerful to me. I appreciate the sharing of inspirational quotes. Too often, we hear things throughout the day that bring us down; take us back to reality, if you will. A well-timed quote (or Bible passage), however, can immediately improve my spirits. It may be brief and some people may think I’m crazy … I would also bet they don’t feel the same way about quotes … but it’s possible. And sometimes, all I need is possible.
Tonight, I needed a quote. I started with Pinterest. Sure, there were several I already pinned that I like, but then I remembered this one that a friend shared via email last night:
Life is like a camera: focus on what’s important, capture the good times, & develop from the negatives. ~Unknown~
I liked it. I liked it a lot. Why? I like pictures. I like words. I like feeling better.
