Only because I couldn’t find the appropriate words to convey how I feel about this girl, here are a few photos from her eighteenth birthday celebration this past weekend. Love your face off, Alyssa Lou.

I’ve known Kyle for almost forever. I’m hard-pressed to believe he’s an adult human being because I just don’t feel like I’m that much older than him, but alas, he’s doing all of the really cool things some adult human beings do. I also have enough of a memory to recall when Kyle would share about his relationship with Stephanie when he was in my post-high school group at church. It seemed like they were so perfectly suited and then as soon as I knew it, they were getting married. And I was all, ‘I’d love to shoot your wedding! Can you please make it 98,000 degrees that day? I see that different emotion with him. And I love that I get to capture that for her; so later Maya can tell her how Ben was clearly the favorite. I’m kidding. Sort of. Continue reading

florida (in photos)
It’s been close to a month since we returned from vacation and I’ve had neither the time nor the energy to share about all of our adventures. So, I still don’t have the energy. Sorry about that. But, I do have pictures. And they are worth a thousand words, or so I’ve heard. So, in reality, this story has like 26,000 words.
