I have an affinity for the word ‘redux’. Quite simply, it means revisited; however, it also is synonymous with restored. There are no two words more adequate to describe my second adventure to Guatemala. Revisited? Yes. Restored? Oh goodness. This happens every time. Well, each time? I get back from Guatemala and I simmer like hamburger helper on the stove trying to reconcile what in the actual heck just happened.
When I think about what it means to be home, my mind starts to wander a bit. My definition of what ‘home’ looks like has changed so much. But, what I’m certain of is that my heart has multiple homes.

Wow. This weekend was so exhausting. In fact, my blinks are getting longer each time I close my eyes. I’ll be brief.
So … guess what? I have, like, eleventy billion more photos to share and I just promised my niece I was going to bed because I feel tired (I think they used to call it weary but that seems like something an old lady would say and I’m definitely not about to throw myself into <em>that</em> category). But, looking at my Guatemala photos makes me happy and I’d rather be happy than sleeping. Never mind. That doesn’t even make sense.
