brene brown quote via pinterest

I had a post half-written about some stuff that’s bothering me and I couldn’t get through the whole thing because, well, it seemed like a big, fat pity party. sometimes, quotes help

I’m not sure if Pinterest is behind the massive number of quotes floating around the InterWebs as of late, but I have to admit … I don’t hate it. Too often, we hear things throughout the day that bring us down; take us back to reality, if you will. A well-timed quote (or Bible passage), however, can immediately improve my spirits. I liked it. I liked it a lot. Why? I like pictures. I like words. I like feeling better.

There are conversations that Connor and I have that leave me scratching my head. He is amazingly smart. His memory is far superior to mine. Let me just quality that, prior to being pregnant with Connor, I think my memory was awesome. I mean, I don’t remember … but, I’m sure it was good. These days, I’m lucky to remember where I put my coffee cup. Continue reading
