sweet eleanor

Isn’t it unbelievably amazing how quickly a newborn morphs into a little human being? Melanie and Jason were kind enough to ask me to come take some photos of their sweet baby girl and I got to experience first-hand the many faces of Eleanor. Oh, and I won’t say that I hated having to pick her up and snuggle with her throughout the session. Well, all except for when her mom needed me to pick up couches and other potential obstacles. Let me start by saying … I am not a fan of “selfies”. For those who are not all up to speed on the kids’ lingo, Urban Dictionary defines a selfy (why yes, there is a plural and singular version of this made-up word) as follows: A strange phenomenon in which the photographer is also the subject of the photograph, in a subversive twist on the traditional understanding of the photograph.
