trying on shoes with boys

After Owen’s party the other day, Connor and I stopped at Dick’s to check out some new kicks. He tried on two different pairs but was going to pass (well, he thought he was but that wasn’t really going to happen) until I suggested that one pair might make him faster and since these were going to be worn for gym it would be pretty important to find out which shoes would fit the bill. Image

1 – games

i hope his face is like that when he’s sixteen and behind the “real wheel”

2 – fear of charles e. cheese

this is exactly what I do when I see mice, too

3 – the longest candle-blowing-out moment in the history of.the.world.

see connor so badly wanting to show him how to get those flames extinguished?

4 – one beautiful girl who called me her best friend by the end of the day

world’s most adorable two-year-old. no question

5 – one very special boy that we would drive across the state to celebrate with again in a heart beat.

happy birthday, Master Owen!

Connor said his favorite exhibit was the snakes. We didn’t see the snakes but one found it’s way home with us:

And now, I feel like this guy:

Good night.

The end.
